Hōhonu performances and content from the Tainui Secondary School’s Kapa Haka Competitions 2017

Kia hiwa rā, kia hiwa rā! On Saturday, 6 May Te Kūiti High School hosted the Tainui Waka secondary schools kapa haka competition. Ngā Reo Irirangi o Tainui were fortunate to live-stream the event and share with those who were unable to make it. We watched ten teams compete for four spots, to represent our waka, on the national stage. We enjoyed a maturity of voices and killer performances.
