MFM are currently inviting applications for the following positions
Produce engaging radio and online content with us at MFM. Refine your skills and master the tools of modern iwi communications. We are looking for highly motivated people who want to fuel the revitalisation of Te Reo in our communities. Specific technical training is provided and some weekend work may be required, for three positions as follows:
PRODUCER – TE REO x1
Informing, entertaining and story-telling across a range of kaupapa. Key tasks include research, writing and scripting, interviewing, on-air and on-screen presenting, audio and video content production. Fluency and confidence with Te Reo required.
BREAKFAST SHOW HOST x1
Week day radio show highlighting local people, issues and stories. Key tasks include research and scripting, interviewing, audio content production and social media interaction. Early morning starts are required.
ONLINE ENGAGEMENT AND PROJECTS CO-ORDINATOR x1
Manage and maintain all online activity, stakeholder information, audience research and sponsorship opportunities. Provide a strong co-ordination point for all MFM events and projects. Previous experience in a communications role is preferred.
