HE MARANGAI KI TE URU | Heavy rain is once again causing extensive damage to the Marokopa area for the second time in just a few months.Flooding and slips along Marokopa Road in Te Anga mean the road to Marokopa is now unpassable, and it’s unknown when it will re-open. With more rain forecast for Friday, the Waitomo District Council is urging people not to venture out if they don’t need to.
