Māori across Aotearoa will today reach 90% partial accination (first dose). As of 11am this morning, they were just 142 doses away from reaching this important milestone. The Waikato region has also this week reached the 90% mark for first doses among Māori.
Maniapoto whānau are elated at the news of the border reopening announced by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
The Ministry of Health are urging people who are going away this Waitangi weekend, to be cautious of their movements around the motu. They’re encouraging all travellers to wear a mask in indoor settings, physical distance, and scan in using the NZ COVID Tracer app.
