– Maniapoto Whānau Ora Vaccination Site Lead, Sharon Church says there was a good turn out of tamariki receiving their vaccination today.
– Jayde Karena (Ngāti Urunumia) took her tamariki to get vaccinated after they contracted the virus last year. She says it was a whānau decision and one she hopes will protect her tamariki in the future.
– The 25th January celebrations at Rātana Pā in Whanganui has been reduced to a one-day event for the local community only.
