The volunteer-led organisation The Serve, based in Kirikiriroa, supports whānau in need by way of kai and manaakitanga for 365 days of the year. Not only do they prepare and deliver meals to those who have fallen on hard times, but they also provide a space for whānau to feel safe without judgement.
Led by Ngāti Maniapoto uri Natasha Willison-Reardon and Paula Ormsby, the rōpū is guided by core values that ensure no one is left behind.
