Kaumātua are preparing for the much-anticipated Kaumatua Games in Te Kūiti next week. The last event of its kind was scheduled to take place two years ago, but was cancelled due to the pandemic.
We spoke to kaumātua at their weekly Lifestyle gathering today who say they’re looking forward to re-connecting with kaumātua from outside the rohe.
