She used to be one of the first faces to greet you at Te Kūiti High School – a place she dedicated nearly thirty years of her life to. But there’s something else Muri Turner is well known for. Over the years she has helped uri create whakapapa books, recording generations of whānau lineage.
We sat down with Aunty Muri to talk not only about her passion for whakapapa, but also her love for making her renowned parāoa rēwena.
