Preparations underway for Koroneihana 2022.The call was made only two weeks ago for the people of Rereahu-Maniapoto to come together to prepare for the annual Koroneihana of Kīngi Tūheitia Pōtatau Te Wherowhero VII.
It was met with such a response that the group continues to grow in size. The main focus of the roopū is to bring together the wider iwi, to support the Kīngitanga and the love of whakangāhau kapa haka.
With only two weeks remaining until performance day, Te Kapa o Te Nehenehenui continues to prepare, with practices being held every Thursday’s and one scheduled weekend mass practice as well.
Te Kapa Haka o Te Nehenehenui, are scheduled to perform at Tūrangawaewae Marae, Thursday 18th August 2022 at 3:30pm
