The organising committee of the Te Kāwau Maaro o Maniapoto Hui-ā-Iwi are proud to announce the return of the famed and popular event, the Te Kāwau Maaro o Maniapoto Hui-ā-Iwi, better known as the Maniapoto Games.
When: Fri 21st – Sun 23rd October, 2022 (Labour Weekend).
Where: Te Ora-o-Ngātai (Centennial Park, Te Kūiti).
Pōwhiri: Te Kūiti Pā, 5pm – Friday 21st October 2022.
Since its inception in 1996, this year the Te Kāwau Maaro o Maniapoto Hui-ā-Iwi celebrates its 26th year.
To acknowledge the 26 year history of this kaupapa, our weekend will consist of both sports and wānanga. Not only giving you all an opportunity to return home to represent you’re respective marae, but also an opportunity to learn and extend your knowledge on what it means to be from Te Nehenehenui.
