Over 500 Ngāti Maniapoto, Te Nehenehenui members travelled south to Wellington yesterday, by train, plane and busses to attend the third reading of the Maniapoto Deed of Settlement at Parliament.
The official pōwhiri will be held at Pipitea Marae, Wellington at 6am this morning (Thursday 22 September), where Ngāti Maniapoto, Te Nehenehenui whānui will be welcomed by government dignitaries and local Iwi.
