December 4 2022 will mark a significant milestone for the iwi as Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will formally apologise to Ngāti Maniapoto for historic grievances by the Crown.The settlement process has taken more than 30 years to complete. Te Rangiwaituhi will be the fruition of the commitment and dedication by those who started the journey all those years ago.
